The short version

We collect what we need to help you show up for people — and nothing we don’t. We don’t sell your data. The notes you keep about the people in your life stay private to your account. We share information only with the providers that make TMM work (like our payment and email partners), and you can access or delete your information anytime.

01What we collect

We collect the information we need to help you show up for the people in your life:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and password.
  • Your personality quiz answers — used to personalize what we surface.
  • Your notes about the people in your life — names, important dates, the things you want to remember, preferences, any personality answers you record for them, favorites, and gift or timeline history.
  • Purchase and booking details — handled through Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
  • Usage and device data — how you interact with the site, collected via analytics to help us improve.

02How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide personalized gift and content recommendations;
  • Send the reminders you ask for (such as birthdays and important dates);
  • Process and fulfill your orders and consultations;
  • Improve our platform and develop new features; and
  • Prevent fraud and keep the Service secure.

03When you keep notes about people in your life

The Service lets you keep private notes about the people you care about — what you’ve learned about how they tick, dates that matter, gestures that landed, things you want to remember. We treat what you record as yours: it is visible only to your account, and we use it solely to help you show up for them — sending the reminders you ask for, tailoring what we surface, and keeping your notes available to you.

Think of it as a private journal about how to care for the people in your life — not a profile we hold about them. You are responsible for what you record, and you can delete any person and all of the notes you’ve kept at any time from your account.

04Reminders and communications

We send reminders and updates you opt into, along with essential service messages about your orders and consultations. Our reminders are designed to be encouraging and easy to snooze — never guilt-inducing. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us.

05How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make TMM work — such as payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, analytics, and the AI providers that power matching and recommendations — and where required by law. These providers act on our instructions and only receive what they need to perform their service.

06AI and recommendations

To match gifts and content to your situation, your search queries and quiz answers may be processed by trusted AI providers on our behalf. We use this only to power the Service — we do not use it to publicly identify you, and we do not sell it.

07Data security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information, and payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.

08Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content — or your account — we remove the associated data, except where we are required to retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

09Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information — including the people and details you have added — at any time by contacting us at privacy@motivationmall.com. You can also manage your reminders and cookie preferences as described below.

10Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and shopping cart. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended without them.

11Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the revised policy on this page.
